Annual Credit Report
Federal Law requires that each of the three credit bureau companies provide you with a free annual credit report. I recommend that you request one free report once every four months. This will allow you to monitor your credit report during the year – not just once every 12 months.
There is only one authorized web site to request this information. If you use any site but the one listed below, you are probably signing up for a monthly monitoring fee or it’s a scam web site set up just to steal you personal data.

Do Not Call Registry
If you are tired of all those annoying sales calls and you want to eliminate 90% of them, you need to register your phone number on the do not call registry. You must call from the number you desire to register if you are using the toll free number: 888-383-1222

Opt Out of Pre-Approved Credit Card Mailing
If you are tired of receiving “You Are Pre-Approved” credit card mailings you can opt out by calling 888-5-opt-out (888-567-8688) or visiting www.optoutprescreen.com
