National Debt Out of Control
In 1980 our national debt was just under $1 trillion. On September 5, 2007 we surpassed the $9 trillion milestone. That means that it took our nation over 200 years to reach a milestone of $1 trillion in debt and only 27 years to add another $8 trillion.
Government spending is out of control as evidenced by the growth of our national debt.
