Ethan Pope's
Foundations For Living seminar "Living In God's Economy" was our most well
received stewardship seminar to date. Each year McFBC brings in a top
financial seminar to bless and educate our church body. Our people loved
Ethan's warmth, humor and financial sensibility. Ethan's "Theology of
Money" matrix with its 15 step approach was the best presentation we've seen for
the biblical basis for stewardship.
The seminar was exactly as advertised and more. It was fast paced,
interesting, fun and easy to implement. It was an overall success.

As a pastor who sponsored a “Living in God’s
Economy” Seminar, it is an honor to recommend this opportunity to you. I have a
deep appreciation for the teaching void in the area of God’s view of money and
stewardship. Ethan Pope hit a “home run” with his three-hour seminar that 125
of my church attended in the fall of 2002. It was creative, visually pleasing,
and biblically sound. An excellent syllabus was provided. It was FUN!
A couple of stories:
- One 40 year old lady came up & shook my hand
enthusiastically. "I have never heard this before. I wish I had this as a
teen. My life would have gone a lot smoother if I had understood God’s view of
money. I finally understand what God wants & it makes so much sense. I am
leaving with hope because I know specifically what I need to do."
- Our administrator, and former CFO of a
corporation, said that in all the Christian financial seminars he's attended
(he’s been a Christian for 15 years) - he has never seen the theological
foundation that Ethan laid in the first hour! It set perspective for the
wonderful practical tips that followed.
I also appreciated Ethan’s heart for my
people and desire to serve them. He stayed two hours after the seminar ended to
talk to anyone with a question. That spoke volumes!
Ethan’s seminar is one of the “best kept
secrets” in Christian America. I would repeat it in a heartbeat. I would
strongly encourage you to take advantage of this resource and host your own
seminar. Feel free to contact me if you’d like more information.
Warmly in Christ,

Dear friend,
In October 2002, Ethan was invited to the Central United Methodist Church in
Meridian, MS to present his three hour seminar, "Living In God's Economy".
He was well received and the participants gained tremendous insights in learning
how to become faithful stewards in managing God's resources.
The exciting premise of the seminar is that it is Biblically-based and the
approach is sound Scripturally. It is also encouraging that Ethan
emphasizes the importance of family members planning and praying together
relative to finances and in establishing honorable and realistic goals that
honor God and, in turn, greatly enhance the happiness and well-being of the
family unit.
Ethan uses music, technology, Scripture, statistic, true life-examples and humor
as he teaches. His is a common sense and manageable approach to the
understanding of Christian stewardship.
I would be happy to answer questions regarding Ethan's seminar. Please
feel free to give me a phone call.
Sincerely yours,
Jimmy Harrison

Dear Ethan,
I wanted to
write and express my appreciation for your service on Sunday. The material
was excellent and the presentation as clean as any I've heard on the subject.
May God continue to bless you as your minister in His name.

Ethan,
We thoroughly enjoyed your ministry among us on March 9th. You've
obviously put a lot of work into the seminar and it shows. It's very
professional and fast paced. The three hours went by very quickly.
The most helpful part of the seminar, from my vantage point, is your MAP tool
that allows a family to track their expenditures against their budget.
I've never seen anything like it. It is certainly the most workable
program I've seen.

Dear
Friends,
I am the Associate Pastor and we had the pleasure of hosting Foundations For
Living seminar in September of 2002. Ethan and his ministry made the
seminar a complete success by working to make the day as user friendly as
possible. Our church members left the church excited about what the Lord
was going to do in their financial lives. Ethan spent time explaining the
theology of money before he moved into the practical financial concepts. I
give my full recommendation to Ethan Pope and Foundations For Living Ministry.
